On February 18, as part of the working visit of Party General Secretary Tô Lâm and the high-level delegation to the United States to attend the Peace Council, The Boeing Company and Sun PhuQuoc Airways, the airline of Sun Group, signed an agreement for the purchase of 40 of Boeing’s most advanced 787-9 Dreamliner widebody aircraft, with an estimated total value of approximately $22.5 billion. This aircraft is regarded as a “revolution in modern air travel.”
