Sun PhuQuoc Airways is the first full-service airline to directly operate the Kuala Lumpur - Phu Quoc route, with 23kg checked baggage, a light meal, and drinks included in the ticket price. Passengers aged 2 to under 12 years old also benefit from a price of only 75% of the adult fare, offering a more convenient option for Malaysian families planning a vacation in Phu Quoc.
Onboard the flight, passengers experience services oriented towards "Resort in the Sky" with a new-generation cabin, signature La Festa fragrance, and a service style meticulously crafted according to 5-star service orientation. The journey's value continues to extend at the destination: passengers departing from Kuala Lumpur during the period from July 25, 2026, to January 25, 2027, receive a complimentary Sun World Hon Thom cable car ticket and enjoy discounts of up to 30% on accommodation, dining, spa, and entertainment services within the Sun Group ecosystem at Phu Quoc .

The event is an important preparation step to increase tourist arrivals from Malaysia to Phu Quoc
At the workshop, Sun PhuQuoc Airways and Wifadah Travel & Tours also agreed to boost destination promotion activities, expand distribution, and develop tourism products suitable for the Malaysian market. This is an important preparatory step to increase the flow of tourists from Malaysia to Phu Quoc, and at the same time, gradually leverage the role of Kuala Lumpur as a transit gateway, connecting Phu Quoc with international markets through a connecting flight network.
Kuala Lumpur is the seventh international destination for Sun PhuQuoc Airways after Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Singapore, and Bangkok. Less than 5 months since launching its first international route, the airline is gradually expanding its network to key aviation and tourism hubs in the region.

Sun Phu Quoc Airways will expand its fleet to 32 aircraft this year
To meet the flight network development plan, as of early August 2026, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has expanded its fleet to 17 aircraft, plans to put Airbus A330 into operation from September 2026, and will continue to expand the fleet to 32 aircraft by the end of 2026. The increase in fleet capacity will create a foundation for the airline to continue developing its international flight network, gradually perfecting service experience towards international 5-star standards, and at the same time contributing to bringing Phu Quoc closer to regional tourist markets.
