The Phu Quoc International Airport Expansion Project is being designed by CPG Consultants (Singapore) and Artelia Airport (France) — two of the world’s leading aviation design firms. With a total investment of nearly VND 22,000 billion and a target completion before APEC 2027, the project aims to deliver a world-class, seamless, and smart travel experience, elevating Phu Quoc’s global image as a premier destination right from its “gateway.”
The new Phu Quoc International Airport will also serve as an architectural landmark. The main passenger terminal is inspired by the image of the Phoenix — a symbol of royalty, power, and grace. In addition, a VIP terminal will be built, designed by Italian architect Marco Casamonti, the creative mind behind Phu Quoc’s iconic Kiss Bridge. The VIP terminal draws inspiration from the image of the sea eagle, representing freedom, fluidity, and harmony with nature — embodying the island’s spirit of elegance and boundless vitality.
