On October 7, 2025, Hilton’s President & CEO visited Phu Quoc to sign a strategic partnership with Sun Group, marking the development of five hotels with over 2,000 rooms across Quang Ninh, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc. The agreement also celebrates the Vietnam debut of Conrad Hotels & Resorts and LXR Hotels & Resorts, while enhancing the country’s luxury tourism landscape and strengthening hospitality infrastructure for APEC 2027.

On October 7th, Sun Group officially signed a strategic partnership with H2O Events and LaserVision, two of Australia’s top entertainment production companies, following a successful collaboration on world-class multimedia shows across Vietnam. The alliance promises to make Phu Quoc’s upcoming festive season the most spectacular yet, with the debut of a new version of the Symphony of the Sea show.


Recently, New World Phu Quoc Resort proudly became the only representative from Vietnam to be included in the list of the Best Family Resorts in the Asia-Pacific region by the prestigious travel magazine Travel + Leisure, thanks to its experiences and facilities that perfectly meet the needs of young travelers.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways has officially been granted both the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and the Approved Training Organization (ATO) certificate by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, affirming its comprehensive capabilities in operations, safety, and training. The airline is now ready to open ticket sales on October 15 and launch its first commercial flights on November 1, 2025.
