The Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO) was founded in 2017, with the ambition of becoming one of Vietnam’s first symphony orchestras of international caliber. Its mission is to enrich the spiritual life of the public through music and to set new standards for Vietnam’s cultural and artistic landscape.
Led by Music Director and French conductor Olivier Ochanine, the orchestra brings together outstanding classical musicians from Vietnam and around the world.
The performances of the Sun Symphony Orchestra have been warmly received by audiences and highly praised by both domestic and international critics, affirming its position as a pioneering force in elevating Vietnam’s symphonic music scene.
