Ban May brings together dozens of traditional houses belonging to the H’Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, Xa Pho, Dien Bien Mong, and Ha Nhi ethnic groups. These are authentic ancient houses relocated from villages across Sa Pa. Inside each house lies a vibrant cultural space, where ethnic artisans — the keepers of their people’s spirit — gather alongside the younger generations of the highlands to recreate traditional architectural styles and interior arrangements.
Here, visitors are invited to experience the essence of ethnic culture through architecture, belief, cuisine, craftsmanship, and performing arts — from sacred rituals to folk songs and dances — each reflecting the soulful identity and living heritage of Vietnam’s Northwestern ethnic minorities.
