Tran Hung Dao Bridge

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a Decision approving the selection of the investor for Component Project 3: Investment and construction of Tran Hung Dao Bridge under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) method, Build-Transfer (BT) contract, payment with land fund. The Decision identifies the Joint Venture of Cong Thanh Transportation Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company and Cat Ba Sun Company Limited (a member of Sun Group) as the investor for the project.

The Tran Hung Dao Bridge is one of 18 road bridges crossing the Red River according to the Hanoi Capital's transportation development plan. The project plays a crucial role in promoting urbanization in the area, creating a foundation for implementing the policy of population decentralization, and simultaneously reducing traffic pressure on the central urban area. The project aligns with the country's overall development orientation, strengthening connections between major traffic arteries along both banks of the Red River and sharing traffic volume with the Chuong Duong and Vinh Tuy bridges.

The project starts at the intersection of Tran Hung Dao, Tran Thanh Tong, and Le Thanh Tong streets in Cua Nam ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi; and ends at Nguyen Son street in Long Bien and Bo De wards. The total length of the route is approximately 4.18 km.
